‘Thank you’: NHS staff clap for general public staying at home

The UK’s Guardian posted this video of NHS staff from the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London, who are thanking members of the public for respecting the guidelines to stay at home, to slow the spread of Covid-19.

The clap is led by matron Vicky Oluwole.

The theatre and endoscopy staff at the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust have thanked and applauded the general public for staying at home.

In a video posted online, matron Vicky Oluwole says: ‘We, the staff of Lewisham endoscopy theatres, are thanking you for clapping for the NHS.

Now, we are clapping and saying thank you for staying at home’
