    Millions are under fresh restrictions in Bangkok as Thailand battles a surge of coronavirus cases exacerbated by highly infectious variants. In contrast, the country’s second largest island, Koh Samui, is planning to open up to international tourists on July 15. Ratchaporn Poolsawad, the president of the Koh Samui Tourism Association, tells The World there will be strict requirements for people wanting to visit.
