Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha survived a no-confidence vote in parliament on Saturday. Prayuth faced the vote over allegations that his government mismanaged the economy, a coronavirus vaccine rollout and fostered corruption. He received 272 votes of confidence from 487 members of parliament. The vote marks the second no-confidence test that his government has faced since he took office in July 2019. #Thailand #Prayuth

Voting is a method for a group, such as a meeting or an electorate, in order to make a collective decision or express an opinion usually following discussions, debates or election campaigns. Democracies elect holders of high office by voting. Residents of a place represented by an elected official are called “constituents”, and those constituents who cast a ballot for their chosen candidate are called “voters”.
