    Texas officials pleaded with residents to limit their electricity usage on Monday amid higher temperatures, due to a series of mechanical problems at power plants. The warning was issued from ERCOT, or the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, and comes four months after a deadly winter storm left many residents without power.
