Tesco’s website and app have been hit by hackers, leaving thousands of customers unable to shop using the supermarket’s online services.
Digital platforms to access the UK’s biggest supermarket have been out of action for more than 24 hours after an “attempt was made to interfere” with the company’s systems.
Tesco initially released a statement acknowledging there were “issues” with the website and app on Saturday, but on Sunday it revealed it was the victim of deliberate disruption.
