Syrian doctor explains how he survived coronavirus – by helping to treat himself

A Syrian doctor who escaped from Raqqa in Syria 7 years ago is now working as a doctor in a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Dr Ammar Kanbar caught the corona virus and was hospitalised – an experience he said was even worse than fleeing Syria. He’s just returned home and is recuperating and is still short of breath. I spoke to him a little earlier and I asked him about when he first started to feel the symptoms.
