Syrian child refugees forced to work illegally in Lebanon

Human Rights Watch says tighter residency rules for Syrian refugees in Lebanon are forcing many into illegal jobs, where they face abuse.

The group’s latest report says Lebanese authorities are effectively blocking many Syrians – some of them children – from renewing their residency permits.
