Syria war: Lausanne meeting fails to break deadlock

The latest round of multinational talks aimed at brokering a ceasefire deal in Syria have ended with little sign of progress.
US Secretary of State John Kerry said the talks in Switzerland were very candid but with tense, difficult moments.
But any hopes they’d lead to a pause in the intense bombardment of Aleppo were short-lived.
