Syria war: Fighting rages in Aleppo as rebels clash with Syrian troops

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor says at least 48 civilians have been killed in recent fighting in Aleppo.

The UN has condemned the violence, which comes as rebels attempt to break a government siege on eastern districts of the city.
