As the Sydney coronavirus outbreak enters its fourth week, today was our worst day yet.

38 new COVID-19 cases – with more than half in the community while infectious.

40 people are now in hospital. 11 are in intensive care, with three people on ventilators. The highest case and hospital rates since the first wave last year.

The Premier says the only way that the ‘Stay At Home Order’ will be lifted is if every single person does the right thing, saying ‘now is the time for all of us to step up if we don’t want the lockdown extended.’
