We’ve been given another glimpse of the special show planned for the Sydney Harbour Bridge’s birthday.

Sydneysiders were treated to a sneak peak of the light show, featuring projections on the iconic pylons ahead of the coat hanger’s 90th anniversary celebrations tomorrow.

7NEWS presents the ‘Sydney Harbour Bridge 90th Birthday’ special – a look back at the history of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, 90 years on from its opening. Watch on Channel7 and 7plus Saturday night at 7pm.

Transport for NSW has organised some amazing events. Sydneysiders can walk through a free pop-up art gallery with installations dotted between Town Hall and Campbells Cove. The curated images in eye-catching cubes bring back moments in Sydney’s history and take inspiration from their location.

On Saturday 19 March Sydney’s streets will buzz with energy. Aria-Award winning artists such as Tex Perkins and James Morrison will hit the stage along with Bananas in Pyjamas at Campbells Cove.

While street performers, caricature artists and musicians will entertain the crowds outside train stations, in marketplaces and on street corners.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge will be the star of the show, with vintage trains, buses and bicycles crossing the bridge in a birthday salute.

– Campbells Cove Sydney Harbour Bridge party – Welcome to Country from 10am followed by Bananas in Pyjamas live on stage. There will also be street games, magicians, and a vintage car and bicycle display. In the afternoon and evening, there’ll be more live music performances.
