Swiss acrobats performed during the “Glacier 3000 Air Show”, an event that marked the reopening of Alpine facilities following the COVID-19 lockdown. Circus performances have been cancelled globally due to the coronavirus pandemic but one acrobat kept the dream alive with a death-defying Wheel of Death stunt in the Swiss Alps. Ramon Kathriner, dressed in a black suit and bow tie, climbed onto a 30ft (9m) revolving metal pendulum on the edge of a mountain. His other acts included walking a tightrope, motorbiking on a wire, and performing atop a swaying pole. He was one of several daredevils who performed at the show to honor those in the entertainment industry affected by COVID-19.
