A shooting at a Colorado grocery store killed ten people, including a police officer, on March 22, 2021. Authorities arrested Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, who has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder. The police have not given any indication of the 21-year-old’s motive.
The attack was the second mass shooting in the US in less than a week. Eight people, six of whom were Asian women, were killed on March 16 in three massage parlours in the Atlanta area.
