Families in Florida continue to wait and mourn for their love ones, as search efforts slowly continue at the site of the Surfside condominium collapse and a 12th body was found, raising the death toll once more.
But demands for accountability are also rising, as more details about the building’s questionable condition continue to emerge.
New photos obtained by the Miami Herald show deteriorating concrete beneath the building’s pool just days before the collapse. And much earlier in April, residents were also warned the complex’s structural damage had grown worse since a 2018 inspection.
