Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Sudan floods put children’s futures at risk as school year postponed” – below is their description.
Recent floods in Sudan have destroyed hundreds of schools, especially in rural parts of the country. That has led to the postponement of the start of the school year.
One out of three children are already out of school, and there are concerns that more delays will increase the number.
Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan reports from Kassala, Sudan.
