Clashes broke out between protesters and soldiers from the Israeli forces in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Thursday, during a rally in support of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli jails. The protest turned violent as Israeli forces deployed water cannons, stun grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstration. Protesters set fire to rubber tyres and dustbins, while others resorted to throwing stones at the Israeli officers.
