CGTN published this video item, entitled “Study: COVID-19 virus ‘can survive for 28 days on surfaces'” – below is their description.
For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video A new study suggests the coronavirus can survive for weeks in cool, dark conditions. Australia’s national science agency found that, at 20 degrees Celsius, the virus was active on smooth surfaces, like phone screens and plastic banknotes, for up to 28 days. This was much longer than earlier studies which found the virus could survive for up to four days. Survival rates dropped as temperatures got warmer, however, and the main message remains that infected people are far more infectious than surfaces.
