Students to boycott clubs amid reports of injection spiking

Channel 4 News published this video item, entitled “Students to boycott clubs amid reports of injection spiking” – below is their description.

“I feel violated, I don’t understand why they did this” – the words of a young woman who believes she was injected with a date rape drug.

Several police forces are investigating similar reports from women.

Home Secretary Priti Patel has now asked all forces for an update on the issue, and students have launched an online campaign, Girls Night In, to boycott venues until more measures are put in place to protect people against spiking.

Producers: Faye White and Lucia Walker.
