ITV News published this video item, entitled “Students in England ‘will not be asked’ to sit GCSE and A-Level exams this summer | ITV News” – below is their description.
Tonight teenagers due to sit a Btec exam first thing in the morning have gone to bed, revision done, not knowing if they will actually be taking it.
In the latest decision making – or non-decision making – by the Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson, schools have been left to decide whether the exams should go ahead this week.
Some did today.
Meanwhile pupils who have been working hard towards now-cancelled GCSEs and A-levels will have to wait until tomorrow for Mr Williamson to explain what is going to happen instead.
