Sydney is beginning the working week with strikes. Bus drivers in the inner west have walked off the job, bringing services to a halt. Tomorrow, workers in Sydney’s south-west will down tools for 24 hours.
Train services will also be impacted this week. Workers say they won’t drive foreign-made trains tomorrow which run three-quarters of services. While teachers are also going on strike tomorrow – it will be their first industrial action in more than a decade.
