    Torrential rain, severe flooding, hundreds of people forced from their homes – the reality of our climate crisis as Storm Christoph hit large parts of the country, with heavy snow in Scotland and flood alerts across swathes of north west England and Wales.  

    Emergency crews worked through the night to prevent flood damage at a manufacturing site for the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine.

    While Boris Johnson visited one of the worst hit areas, Didsbury in Manchester, earlier today.
