Storm Amanda leaves 17 dead, 7,000 in shelters in El Salvador

At least 17 people have been killed and over 7,000 are in shelters in El Salvador due to the persistent rain since Friday caused by storm Amanda. Authorities reported that hundreds of families throughout the country have been evacuated after rivers and floods burst their banks.
