Visitors defied advice to stay away from the Stonehenge on the morning of the longest day.
Crowds were seen jumping the fence and gathering inside the stones after the Summer Solstice annual event had been cancelled.
The summer solstice, otherwise known as the longest day of the year, falls on June 21 marking the return of brighter evenings.
The English Heritage pulled a live feed of the sunrise at Stonehenge after people disregarded advice not to travel to the site.
It is the second year in a row the English Heritage have had to cancel the event.
