Adelaide’s most prominent and best-known statue of Colonel William Light has been vandalised twice in a spate of attacks on the city’s historical monuments.

The state’s Premier has criticised the crime, which is being investigated by police, but it’s also prompted calls from Aboriginal rights advocates for more monuments honouring Indigenous history and culture.
