Startrack workers go on strike in bid for job security guarantees | 7NEWS

7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “Startrack workers go on strike in bid for job security guarantees | 7NEWS” – below is their description.

Hundreds of Startrack employees across Australia have walked off the job today in a bid for job security guarantees.

The strike is another blow to Australia’s overwhelmed postal system, but the Transport Workers Union has promised to support any medical deliveries.

“Pay isn’t really the big issue here. The issue is job security. How are these guys supposed to get a car loan or a home loan if, in 18 months’ time, they’re being replaced by an outside contractor on half the money.” – Joshua Millroy, Transport Workers Union.
