The Centre for Environmental Justice has filed a lawsuit over the damage caused by Sri Lanka’s chemical cargo ship wreck. Dr Kokila Konasinghe is an attorney and director for the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy at the University of Colombo. She tells The World the sinking will impact Sri Lanka’s beaches, tourism and fishing for months, if not years.
