Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Srebrenica massacre: UN court upholds Ratko Mladic’s genocide conviction” – below is their description.
A UN court has upheld the convictions of former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic for genocide and other offences during Bosnia’s 1992-95 war.
This means Mladic will have to spend the rest of his life in prison for his role in the killing of about 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica in 1995.
The judges in the Hague rejected Mladic’s appeals against his conviction for genocide and crimes against humanity.
