“Looking up, I see the immensity of the cosmos; bowing my head, I look at the multitude of the world,” reads an excerpt from “Lanting Xu” (Preface to Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion), a Chinese calligraphy masterpiece by Wang Xizhi (303-361) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420).

A female Italian astronaut recited this piece of Chinese poetry during her first mission to the International Space Station. The universe is boundless, with countless stars sparkling within. CGTN’s Cherry Qiu sends her sincere regards to taikonauts who devote their lives to the space industry.
