Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, has pardoned nine jailed Catalan separatist leaders.
They were convicted of sedition in 2019 for their role in the region’s failed 2017 independence bid.
It’s a deeply controversial move and opposition parties say they’ll challenge it in court.
