Western #France now braces itself for stormy weather, hard off the back of successive heatwaves and a prolonged drought. Torrential rain and thunderstorms were forecast for parts of the #UK, with warnings of flash floods. However in #Spain, the heatwave sustained and firefighters continued to battle large wildfires.
