Despite a 70 percent drop in business, cinemas in South Korea have managed to stay open, unlike most of the other film industries worldwide. The Busan International Film Festival, one of the biggest in Asia, is under way in South Korea. But organisers have had to scale things down due to the coronavirus pandemic. And many cinemas are relying on technology to adapt to the new reality of COVID-19. Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride reports from Busan, South Korea. –
