South Korea is the first country to hold a nationwide election in the middle of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Voters went to polling stations for a parliamentary election on Wednesday wearing masks and disposable gloves.

Authorities are conducting temperature checks, setting up separate booths for those with fevers and arranging special polling stations for quarantined people.
