South Korea: Busan film festival gets underway

South Korean cinema enjoys its biggest night of the year – the opening of the Busan International Film Festival.

Local movies have made up eight of 2016’s top 10 hits. But while that may be cause for celebration, the film festival itself remains mired in a row over freedom of expression.
