With virtually no warning, South Australia has slammed its border shut to greater Melbourne as Victoria’s COVID cluster threatens to spiral out of control.

Only returning South Australians and essential travellers are allowed to enter our state from Melbourne.

Anyone who has arrived since May 20 must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

The snap closure has been sparked by six new infections over the border, taking the outbreak there to 15 cases. 7NEWS Adelaide at 11.30am, 4pm and 6pm | https://7news.link/3hOvWHg
