Thousands of people in #SouthAmerica watched a solar #eclipse that lasted about two minutes on December 14.

The eclipse was visible along a 90-kilometer-wide corridor from the Pacific coast in Chile across the Andes mountain range and into Argentina.

South America won’t see another total eclipse of the sun until 2048.
