    Local creatives keen to encourage more Canberrans to make sustainable fashion choices braved the chill to strut their stuff on a catwalk in Dickson.

    The ‘slow fashion’ parade was a feast for the eyes and the imagination, as rubbish and recycled materials were transformed into wearable art.

    Wendy Moore has been making low-footprint jewellery for the last 30 years, and says she wants to be part of the solution to Australia’s fast fashion problem.
