CNBC Television published this video item, entitled “Single moms who share parenting duties earn more income, survey finds” – below is their description.
March 24 is Women’s Equal Pay Day. The date marks how far into the new year women must work to make what men were paid the previous year. The pay gap is about 18% for full-time working women in the U.S. compared to men and 25% for mothers compared to fathers. CNBC’s Sharon Epperson reports why the gap between single mothers is even larger than for mothers who co-parent and how one survey points to a factor that can lessen that disparity.
