Simon Biles says she was ‘too stressed out’ after pulling out of gymnastics final

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Simon Biles says she was ‘too stressed out’ after pulling out of gymnastics final” – below is their description.

Simon Biles says she was “too stressed out” after pulling out from the women’s team gymnastics final at the Olympic Games.

“It’s been really stressful, this Olympic Games,” she told reporters.

The American, one of the biggest names in Tokyo this summer, withdrew from the competition following one rotation, a stunning decision that opened the door for the team Russian Olympic Committee to surge to gold.

Team GB won a surprise bronze medal.

“I think just as a whole, not having an audience, there are a lot of different variables going into it, it’s been a long week, it’s been a long Olympic process, it’s been a long year,” she added.

“I think we’re just a little bit too stressed out but we should be out here having fun and sometimes, that’s not the case.”

Her American teammates held on for silver.
