A wildfire in the southern Italian city of Catania destroyed bathing beach facilities on Friday.

Footage shows umbrellas and sunbathing chairs in flames at the Le Capannine lido in Sicily.

Local media reports said that Catania has been battling at least 15 fires, and residents in some areas have been evacuated.
