An eight-storey structure in India was evacuated shortly before its collapse, but several residents belongings are said to have been buried under the rubble. In the video, the building can be seen slowly starting to move as the ground underneath it gives way. The deafening sound of the building’s collapse was followed by an enormous cloud of dust engulfing the surrounding areas. It’s likely the landslide occurred as a result of heavy rainfall in the area which loosened the earth beneath the building, resulting in its collapse.
