Shireen exposed the realities of Israeli occupation, and told the stories of Palestinians who lost their homeland – 74 years on.

The report, which was filmed two days before her execution, was scheduled to air for the 74th commemorations of the Nakba on May 15.

The video features interviews with a survivor of the Nakba and scenes filmed in the ruins of his Palestinian village, on whose ruins a forest now grows.

The video concludes with a reminder that Israeli attempts to dispossess Palestinians and displace them forcibly are ongoing.
