In the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, authorities say COVID-19 has been detected on the surface of frozen chicken wings, imported from Brazil. They say other similar food items are being tested in the city. Since July, at least eight places in China have seen instances of the virus being detected on surfaces or packaging of imported food items, mostly seafood. The Chinese mainland has reported 19 new coronavirus cases. Eleven of them came from abroad, while the rest were local transmissions.
