A senior safety consultant has accused Shell of causing ‘extreme harms’ to the environment through gas and oil extraction in a resignation video.
Caroline Dennett claimed the firm was not winding down on fossil fuels but actually expanding with new exploration and extraction projects, against clear warnings from scientists.
‘I just can’t be a part of this any more,’ she says, urging other fossil fuel workers to find a way to leave the industry ‘while there is still time’
