Shamima Begum ‘wants to clear her name’

Shamima Begum, one of three east London schoolgirls who travelled to Syria to join so-called Islamic State, should be allowed to return to the UK to challenge the removal of her British citizenship, senior judges have ruled.

Many have voiced concerns that, should the IS bride be allowed into the United Kingdom for her appeal, she will be unlikely to be convicted of any offences due to the lack of evidence. Not only this, but should her appeal fail, there would be little chance of deporting her.
