Shadow minister criticises PM’s use of contact-testing scheme to ‘avoid self-isolation’

Sky News published this video item, entitled “Shadow minister criticises PM’s use of contact-testing scheme to ‘avoid self-isolation'” – below is their description.

Shadow Health Secretary, Jonathan Ashworth says parents and workers will say ‘there’s one rule for Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak and another for the rest of us’, as the PM and chancellor avoid self-isolation despite being ‘pinged’ by the NHS COVID19 app.

He adds, “I think why it sticks in people’s throat is there is apparently this special system, this VIP system, people can get onto where they can avoid isolating if they’ve been pinged.”
