Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (#CPC) Central Committee, met with U.S. National Security Advisor #JakeSullivan in #luxembourg on Monday. The two sides conducted candid, in-depth, and constructive communication on #China-U.S. relations, as well as other issues of common concern. The two sides agreed to follow the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, step up contact and dialogue, reduce misunderstanding and miscalculation, and properly manage differences. Both sides agreed that maintaining unimpeded channels for communication is necessary and beneficial.
