Footage has been released of a man lobbing a burning log into a police cruiser with an officer still inside Images from CCTV, bodycams and dashcams released by #Seattle police show the terrifying moment. Officer Caleb Pomazon was responding to a call out in the South Lake Union neighborhood, where a man was roaming the streets holding a flaming piece of lumber. As Pomazon’s patrol car crawled down an alleyway towards the suspect, he asked the man to stop, causing him to charge the vehicle with the torch, throwing it into the car. Pomazon opened fire at the 37-year-old suspect through the windshield but didn’t hit him. Additional police arrived on the scene, chasing the man to a parking garage where they arrested him on suspicion of assault and arson. Pomazon suffered minor burns while the vehicle was completely burnt out. Neither the suspect’s identity nor his motive has been disclosed.
