CGTN published this video item, entitled “Search, rescue team from satellite launch center receives training for further manned space missions” – below is their description.
For more:
A search and rescue team from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is training hard to improve its capabilities for all-region, all-time, and all-weather operations. The team trains in the Badain Jaran Desert in north China, where the Dongfeng landing site, a major landing site for the return capsule of manned space missions, is located. Complicated land forms including A-shaped sand ridges, saline-alkali land and Haloxylon woodlands in the desert add difficulty to the team’s search and rescue efforts.
