  1. Ukraine’s President, Volodymir Zelenskyy, a comedian-actor, deserves an Oscar for his theatrical skills which have been very effective in evoking sympathy for Ukraine, a Far Right Wing nation state venerating both, its fascist past and present. Ukraine’s governments has severely curtailed the rights of minorities, banned Left Wing political parties and clamped down on dissent. Zelensky has invoked his Jewish heritage to veil the influence of the extreme Right on Ukrainian society. Ukraine has turned to its dark past to rehabilitate its WWII era fascist Quisling regime, complicit in the Holocaust. It is also the only country in the world with overtly fascist military units such as the Azov Regiment which espouses fascist ideology while adopting WWII era Waffen SS insignia. Zelensky is further irresponsibly endangering the lives of Ukrainian civilians while handing out weapons and calling on them to fight to the last and throw Molotov cocktails at Russian tanks. This cinematic and heroic vision, emblematic of partisan resistance to fascist Germany during WWII, serves only as theater for Western consumption. Zelensky along with Western “Advocacy” journalists and Hollywood personalities such as Sean Penn have made repeated appeals for direct Western military intervention which would lead to nuclear war. They are forgetting these are not the Yugoslav Civil Wars of the 90s, where Western Media also grossly misrepresented the facts. It’s Russia, the world’s largest nation state with a powerful nuclear arsenal. People must learn to disassociate Zelensky’s personality from his dangerous policies and requests.
