Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Scotland’s leader Sturgeon under fire for mishandling sexual misconduct inquiry” – below is their description.
Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has come under scrutiny before a crucial local election over allegations she mishandled an inquiry against her predecessor Alex Salmond.
The inquiry found she had misled legislators when giving evidence earlier this month over Salmond sexually assaulting women.
The elections, due to take place in six weeks, could jeopardise Sturgeon’s position and her plans to take Scotland out of the United Kingdom.
